A native of Massachusetts, Jean has called Tampa Bay her home since 1978. Jean is an award winning artist who works in watercolor, acrylics, colored pencil, pen and ink and mixed media. To further enhance her artistic journey, she has participated in classes at the Dunedin Fine Art Center, the Beach Art Center in Indian Rocks and various workshops from local and nationally known artist. Jean challenges herself to go beyond painting what she sees by trying to capture what she feels. Her goal is to create work that speaks from her heart, her inner voice and vision. Hopefully, her work will touch others as well. As an artist, she’s always exploring by trying new techniques to set free her inner vision through paint on paper and canvas. Jean works out of her home art studio and at Studio 1212 Art Gallery where her work is also on display. Jean is a member of Studio 1212 Art Gallery, Creative Artists Guild, Indian Rocks Beach Art Center, Dunedin Art Center, The International Society of Acrylic Painters and The Colored Pencil Society of America. Jean and her husband Mason reside in Belleair, Florida.
