Doris Clanton
2280 Colonial Blvd. W Doris Clanton has been painting since she came to Florida in 1972. She lives in Palm Harbor with her husband, Larry, and three black cats.
Although she has not formally attended an art school, she has
studied with Mary Henderson and Terry Madden. She was attracted by
their bright colors and fun loving look on life. She also has taken
workshops with many local artists.
Doris is mainly a watercolorist but lately has branched out into
acrylics. Her latest series is a humorous look at Caribbean culture.
Ms. Clanton has done many commissions for professional offices and
residential homes and will color coordinate her art to that of your
heart.
She is a member of CAG, Studio 1212 and Crystal Beach Art Group and
