Christine started painting in various mediums while in high school in Rochester, NY. After college and working a "NORMAL JOB", she moved to New Hampshire where she met her husband and picked up painting once again.

While living in New Hampshire, Christine began studying with Bob Ross, became certified, and began teaching in 1985.  In 1988, she and her husband, William, moved to Seminole, Florida, where she began to study with Gary Jenkins, a floral artist from PBS-TV. It was in 1990 when she started her certification classes with Gary and graduated in 1991, becoming a Jenkins Certified Art Teacher, also known as a J-CAT. From that point on, she continued to study with Gary and with Mary Carole for portrait study, floral, seascapes and landscapes.  She has also studied with Bill Blackman, who is known for his impressionist landscapes and seascapes and still continues to paint with them today.

In February of 2004, Christine took her first watercolor class with Terry Madden from PBS.  Then in July of 2004, she became certified with Terry Madden.  After teaching in oils for 20 years, she switched to watercolors.  She believes in sharing all of her knowledge with her students.  She encourages all of them to do their own thing.  There is nothing that can't be achieved without a little practice and patience.  To take the time in your life to stop and smell the roses or at least paint a few. She continues to teach watercolors, acrylics, and also silk painting.  There is no right or wrong way - just go for it.

Christine has sold her paintings throughout the world and has won numerous awards for her works of art. She continues to show and sell her work today.

In 2003, Christine was elected President of the West Pasco Art Guild and served for 1 year, and in 2004, served on the Board of Directors.  In 2005, she joined the Creative Artists Guild in Dunedin, Florida.
